Why We Exist
In BC, car-dependent communities stretch across the Lower Mainland and beyond. Families who cannot afford a vehicle cannot access employment, healthcare, or school - not because they lack the will, but because they lack the means.
Effective Care was born in a family collision repair shop. We take cars that have outlived their usefulness for one person and give them a new purpose - inspected, certified, and matched to the family that needs them most.

Any make, model, or year - running or not. Drop it off at our partner shop and we handle the paperwork. We issue your CRA tax receipt within 1 week.

Every vehicle goes through a full mechanical inspection at Effective Autobody. We repair what is needed and certify it as road-safe before anyone receives it.

The family with the most demonstrated need is matched first. They receive the vehicle at no cost. You stay connected through our "See Your Car" dashboard.

Most vehicle donation programs end at drop-off. Ours does not. With the recipient family's consent, you receive a private dashboard showing anonymized updates - trips taken, milestones, and messages of gratitude.
No names. No addresses. Just the knowledge that your car is still moving someone forward.
